COLA LOVE facilitated a community driven event designed to connect and converse with local stakeholders about what’s next for Columbia The two day event at The Lady - a beautiful downtown redevelopment - provided a space for participatory, artful and relational community discussions to envision what is possible for our city in the coming years. We explored ways to support the local creative community, to stir economic development and to build innovative ideas for the future. Local mixed media artist, Meredith Walker, led attendees in creating an art installation made up of these ideas, and showcased in the storefront windows in the bottom floor of The Lady.
